Fundamentals of Design was a course that provided an introduction to different concepts, issues, tools and frameworks of sustainability which considers social, economic and cultural well-being.
The Fundamentals of Design course was my first introduction to the essential principles of sustainable design. Through this course, I gained a solid understanding of design fundamentals and their intersection with sustainability, exploring how design decisions can impact both the environment and society.
During the course, I learned key concepts such as systems thinking, the life cycle of materials, and regenerative design principles. These foundations allowed me to develop a more critical and reflective perspective on the role of design in driving transformation toward a more sustainable future.
